Phase 1
With immediate effect the SB Parking will only be available for staff parking. The ticket dispenser at SB Parking has been deactivated on Tuesday (24.4.2012) to avoid students and visitors from coming in and parking there.
For safety, students and staff are allowed to park in LG parking after 6.00pm but must leave before 7.00am the following day. Otherwise, their tyres will be clamped and a fine is imposed.
Phase 2
Plans for improvement at the hill top parking will be carried out taking into consideration on the safety and security of our staff and students parked there including a safer walk way.
Phase 3
If parking at the hill top is insufficient, there are available parking at the stadium open car park at RM2 per entry and only 5 minutes away from IMU.
We understand that this change can be of inconvenience to students and we really appreciate your support. We ask you to bear with the university as the issue with parking is being addressed by IMU. Your cooperation is much appreciated. I will post up more information as I get it :)
